| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 23, 2009 ~ Purchased this 12 oz bottle from Big Z Beverage in Huntington, NY. This beer pours a deep reddish-brown color with a small head that fades away quickly. Aromas are of caramelized malts and dark fruits. Taste is the same. The alcohol makes its presence but does not overpower. All in all, an attractive Doppelbock that’s flavorful, relatively inexpensive and is always available. A must try. ~ JulienHuxley (226), Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada

Very sticky and sweet smell with not much else. Same for the taste, I guess I’m not that dopplebock fan. DJMonarch (6878), Northwich, Cheshire, England
