duff (5403), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Feb 7, 2008 Draught@Battersea Beer Festival. Decent. Malty, bready pale malt flavours, with slightly warming alcohol in the finish. Slight grassy hop notes. Nice.
harrisoni (4896), Ashford, Kent, Kent, England Feb 11, 2008 On draught at Battersea BF 08. Clear gold with lasting beige head. Decent lager. Some decent malt on aroma, some hop. Actually a rather nice lager and a pleasant change from 3.8% bitters. CamdenD (550), Madrid, Spain Nov 13, 2007 Somewhat syrupy and uninspiring beer. Sweet malts come through strong leaving the beer a bit heavyhanded. This reminded me of the stale attempts at Marzens found all over microbrew-America. Mes_and_Sim (3927), London, Greater London, England Nov 4, 2007 A Mes rate: Bottle at Quinns. Clean slightly bubbly gold with a good white head, Slight card board but it’s held in check by some rather nice hops and delicate malt. Lovely hoppy finish with a really pleasing developing smokyness. Better than expected. yespr (5521), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 16, 2007 Half pint at Circolo Pickwick in Bologna. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is soft malty with a slight dusty bitterhops note. Soft mouthfeel. Flavour is soft malty with a mild fruityness and a little bitterness towards the finish. Bitterness gains some more bite in a slight dry finish.
