Commercial Description:
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.

Not bad at all. Perfect malt hop balance. Full of nice caramel flavors with a nice brisk piney yet grassy bitterness and nose. Slight skunky flavor but not sure if this is the hops or UV.

Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. not too impressed with this one. Not very bitter and and a little too much carbonation for my taste. Im not sayin it was bad but not just didnt stand out from the rest.

pour lite brown with a head that lasts a loooong time. quite impressive. its odd-ESBs ive had are either not bitter at all or quite better like an IPA. this probably falls more in the standard pale ale level of bitterness. its hoppy, has some grapefruit in there, finish is a little buttery. not bad, and probably would get a higher rating from someone who is more into the more hops side of things. thats not me though.

Pours a lasting tannish head, with some lacing, over a clear coppery amber body...nose pleasant malty, hoppy, aromas, minimal floral....initial taste is vey slightly sweet malts, then bitter hopping to finish. Mouthfeel good, very clean on the finish. Overall, slightly simple, but well balanced. I need to taste more ESB’s to get the style down better, I know I am comparing them back to IPA’s.

Bitter pine and citrus aromas from a good-looking amber-orange beer with a great lacy white head. Bite of hops on the tongue. Lots of citrus fruit follow-through. Clean finish. Just a nice, straightforward American ESB.

Poured a clear amber/copper with lots of carb bubbles rising in the glass. A nice tall, tan creamy head that left decent lacing on the glass. There was a nice aroma of a light citrusy hops mixed with a big roasted malt sweetness. There was good carbonation and a crisp hop bite developed after the initial taste with a bit of sweetness to round it out. A good hop bitter finish that was not too strong

This beer has a light copper almost gold color with a white frothy head. AS far as the scent of this beer, I didnt get much from it. The palate is crisp and subtle. The taste is slightly bitter and very malty. Overall this is a decent ESB.

Pours a hazy copper with a thick, rocky off-white head. I detect more of the malty sweetness on the nose. The bitterness of the hops takes center stage in the mouth, however. A passable brew, but not one of my favorites.
