Pours light amber in color with a foamy white head. Smells of dough, grass, and nuts. Decent nutty, grassy flavor. A solid ESB. timsilvia32 (447), from Michigan now in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2008 For and ESB not much going on. Pours a nice copper, not much head. Has a nice hop aroma, but it doesn’t really come through in the taste. Very drinkable. For those that enjoy beer, this basically sums it up: My girlfriend who prefers miller light thought it was drinkable. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 29, 2008 Bottle. Copper pour with a big off white head. Nice hop aroma, citrusy and spicy. Has a dry bitter flavor, not alot going on, just a clean hoppy taste. Not bad. Vas19 (299), Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 26, 2008 Pours orange amber with a small white head. Gentle aroma of malt and hops. Surprisingly little hop flavor, mostly just malt. Light for an ESB. Highly drinkable, but not much too it. kevd193213 (507), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Bottle. Clear orange pour with large white frothy head. Aroma of spices and citrus with some faint hops present. Taste of mild and bitter hops. I agree with a previous reviewer that this is more like a mild American Pale than a bitter. Solid session brew. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 12, 2008 Just tried this one on Saturday and enjoyed it. Colour is relatively clear and orange. a very sticky white head that leaves staggered lacing down the glass. an initial light malt taste followed up light hops that leaves a nice soft bitter finish. Tastey all around! Radek Kliber (3962), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Appearance: Clean amber ale with touch of full gold , fizzy rocky top. Nose Solid, “full swing” hop aroma , strong west coast character noted, alpha bitter ale 7+. Flavor/Palate : Citric hop cleanness up front. Sweet golden malt as filler. Straight forward hop oriented ale that was well made. Satisfying . solid bitter.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Pours a nice amber with a rocky tan head. Aroma is of syrupy malt and hops. Flavor has great hops throughout, but this doesn’t seem like an esb to me. More like a mild IPA. I like what they have done with the water, it does have a more English mouthfeel and mineral quality. A bit too sweet for me to get very excited over, but a decent casual brew.
