| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Pours a slightly fogged amber with a brownish tint to it. Nice crème head. Nose is a bit woody and leafy with that typical sweet tone to it. Flavor is pretty deep in wood and leaf as well, but it seems a bit harsh. Kind of like the edges are not rounded off enough. Feel is thick on the body and with a pretty full carbonation. Overall this is an okay ESB. I have tried a lot recently, and this one doesn’t really stand out to me. alexsdad06 (1105), Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 1, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a fleeting off white head. The aroma is fairly hoppy with citrus being in the forefront. The nose is lacking in malt character. The flavor is dry with hoppy bitterness being more present than the light sweet caramel malts. This definetly has the bitter part down, I would like to see maybe a little more balance. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 31, 2008 This is a decent session beer. Turns out to be pretty malty, slightly chewy, but very smooth, with a bit of citrus bitterness in the finish. dchmela (1458), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Pours out cloudy amber with a thick white head. Nice malt and hop aroma. The malt is much like english malt, not as sweet. Hops are delicate, sitting in the background. Taste is smooth and malty, but with a west coast hop taste that makes it very pleasant. Finishes with a little hop bitterness. Very nice. Habanero (634), Tranbjerg, Denmark

It wasn’t bad though. estoppel (1028), Buffalo, New York, USA
