Commercial Description:
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.
OG: 1.048

Bottled. Pours a clear copper with a off-white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with some citrus hop scents. Flavour is dry malt, much less sweet than the aroma, with a nice amount of hops. Finish a little dry malt with more malt sweetness coming through at the end, as well as bitterness from the hops. Very smooth and easy to drink, although the body is a little on the lighter side. Enjoyable overall.

Pours a clear, pale golden orange with a loose, fluffy beige head that diminishes, leaving wispy lace. The nose is of toasted malt, orange/citrus and a light rye. Light-bodied and slick with a dry, toasted and slightly bitter finish. The flavor is toasted and caramel malt with light notes of rye and citrus. This is a fairly good example of the style and while unremarkable, it’s a very quaffable brew.

I may need to re-rate this with a bottle that hasn’t been jostled. It was almost impossible to pour, was foamy. Despite this there was little aroma, and the light flavor was good, although I thought I tasted a lot of alcohol. Will give this one another chance though, because I think it’s sessionable.

12 oz. bottle. Poured a clear, bright copper with thick white head. Aroma is a clean grassy, citrusy hops, with front palate of hay, a mid palate more earthy, malty and musky and a warm, hoppy finish. This is a nice beer which could be paired nicely with a variety of foods, with mild enough hops for the hop-shy folks to give it a try.

12oz. bottle into pint glass. Pours a dark gold color with a medium white head that laces nicely. Aromas of hops and citrus fruit, with hints of tea. Flavor is of hops, mint, and alcohol with a sweet cherry finish. Has a very light, soft mouthfeel. Not nearly as bitter as I had hoped for.
