Commercial Description:
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.

Bottle. [Courtesy of faroeviking , tasting @ yespr] Small fizzy white head that mostly lasted. Cloudy amber colour. Fair lacework. Bread, caramel, grain, hint of citrus and grapefruit. Underlying fruity notes. Medium bodied with a light dry texture and an average carbonation. Moderated sweet with a light hops bitterness. Light dry and bitter finish.

From bottle : Pours a hazy dark amber with really no head, but leaves some lacing on the glass. Nose of sweetness and some hops. Flavor is a little bland, with bitterness toward the end. Palate is a bit watery. I know i have made it sound bad, but it isnt horrible, its drinkable, just not great.

Bottle. [shared with faroeviking @ Plan B]
Pours a light hazy orange with a small creamy white head. Aroma is sweetly malty, grain and a little bit of grassy hops. Flavour is not nearly as hoppy as expected. It is actually a little thin and uninteresting. Light bitterness with a touch of caramel.

Had on 9/4/1999. Color is a nice gold with good carbonation and a light head. Aroma is a very sweet hop scent. Taste is hoppy and bitter. Starting with a slightly creamy medium body it goes down smooth. Finish is smooth with a good hop flavor, a light maltyness and a nice even bitterness.

Slightly sweet aroma, almost lager-like. It pours a clear amber with a nice rocky, white head. Slightly bitter flavor, fairly light mouthfeel, but very nice for a session ale.
