| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 27, 2006 Bottle. Clear amber to orange color with a thick bumpy white head, leaving bands of lacing. Light caramel malt and citrus hop aroma. Flavor of biscuit to cookie malt and orangey hops. Surprisingly crisp, light to medium bodied with light carbonation. Finishes mostly dry but with a mild hop bitterness. A refreshing session brew. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 25, 2006 Hazy orange or amber color with a very thin head. Grainy aroma with some dull hops. The slightly sweet malt blends nicely with the bitter hops. Very earthy and dry. A little bit of a grainy taste, but not as b ad as many ESBs. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 20, 2006 Bottle: Golden amber color with a frothy head. Aroma is of floral hops and malt, taste is mostly just citrus and florals with some malt in the finish. The sweetness is complimented well by the bitters. Overall well done, but not exceptional. puzzl (2648), New York, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 16, 2006 An American ESB, for sure. Definitely notice the "hard water" treatment claimed, as this is quite minerally and british tasting. The special malts have a nice taste, kinda wheaty, dry, anise. Bit of grapefruit in the taste to complent the earthy british hops. Very very drinkable. rudolf (1783), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Copper, fluffy white head. Nose is toffee, reasonably hoppy. Flavor is toffee, slight chocolate, sharp bitterness. nimbleprop (936), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 14, 2006 Poured a murky copper with orange hues with a clumpy white head. Smells of malt and hops, orange aromas but also sweet. Initial flavor is of brown sugar but the end of the flavor brings the hops and the bitterness. Finish is bitter in the tongue but pleasant. This beer was very refreshing, I could drink it all the time. kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 13, 2006 Pours a bright orange-red with medium off-white head that lingers, then reduces to good lacing. Nice, hoppy aroma with hints of floral and grass. Taste was hoppy as well, although it was hard to detect a particular flavor. The bitter palate was what I expected from this style, and it did not disappoint. All and all, a pretty good beer. Cornfield (4966), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 9, 2006 Quality beer. It pours a bright copper/orange body with a huge rocky head that laces in chunks. Nice blending of citric, floral, and earthy hops in the nose, covering a lightly sweet, biscuity malt. The balance tips to the hop bitterness in the flavor ending on a long lasting, mildly bitter finish. Nice job, Avery.
