Commercial Description:
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.

This was good stuff. I purchased this Ale at the Caboose in Ashland. The head formed nicely with some lacing and a clear copper in color. This is my second ESB in a week. This one is my favorite. A well balanced ale with just the right bitterness and malt flavors. Avery has a truly a great beer in its stable. I will look for this one again. I purchased another in Blacksburg while visiting Ben and Addie. This is well balanced ESB.

Copper color. Some malt aroma. Medium malt taste, more caramel, quite high bitterness, lightly aromatic. Drinkable without thrill.

A decent brew, amberish normal color to it with small bit o head. Mostly malts in the aroma with a few hints of hops and the body follows much the same. Decent.

Bottle, Poured amber/gold. Cap came off with louder than average ’pop’ followed by white puff of CO2 gas....foamed right out of the glass leaving about a once behind. Very active carbination to say the least. Lace curtained the whole glass. Soapy aroma. This beer had promise but was lost somewhere. I wonder how well this one does in Colorado against some of the great beesr found there. $8/sixer in Boca Raton

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours a deep golden with an off-white head. Aroma of hops, sweet malts, and citrus. Flavor is sweet, carbonated, citrus, with bitter finish. I just wasn’t into this brew.

Pours very nicely, clear amber color, medium cream white head. Definite floral aroma, sweet and inviting. Very drinkable, the bitterest taste I’ve ever enjoyed.
