Commercial Description:
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.
OG: 1.048
IBU's: 37

Citrus and spicy nose. Honey orange color. mild resiny bitterness. Decent malt balance, could be a little sweeter. Good body, pillowy head. A solid ESB

This beer has a light copper almost gold color with a white frothy head. AS far as the scent of this beer, I didnt get much from it. The palate is crisp and subtle. The taste is slightly bitter and very malty. Overall this is a decent ESB.

Pours a hazy copper with a thick, rocky off-white head. I detect more of the malty sweetness on the nose. The bitterness of the hops takes center stage in the mouth, however. A passable brew, but not one of my favorites.

Bottle. Pours golden with crisp head. Smells rich with hops. Tastes bitter as the name suggests. Nothing real distinctive stands out as far as flavor and smell goes other than just good hops. I would like to try this one again soon and maybe give a better review.

Bottle. Hazy dark amber with a slowly deflating white head. Big hoppy aroma with light yeast notes. Medium bodied and softer than I would have anticipated without much bite. Finish develops slowly into a welcome bitter.

Bottle pours clear amber with a decent and clingy white head. The aroma is orange and bread. The flavor is has a decent amount of orange marmalade and bread malt notes, with some hops to balance it out. The palate is a bit too lively for my tastes with an ESB, but decent bodied none the less. Overall, glad I tried it.
