| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 8, 2009 Mint? Citrus.. Balanced. Its odd that its balanced for this strong of a beer. The taste is like a San Diego DIPA reigned in. The sweet and bitter clashes slightly on the finish but you can only notice that because its so good. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 3, 2009 Pours a hazy dark orange with a thick, frothy white head. Smells of sweet citric hops, grapefruit, with hints of caramel malt. The flavor had some nice carbonation going, with a very nice and sharp hop presence. the bitterness was strong and very flavorful. The malt came in toward the finish to give it a bit of some balance along with a distinct yeast character. i enjoyed this one and would drink again. hayduke (1659), Eureka, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2009 This amber ale poured with a decent off-white head and a caramel syrup aroma. There is a caramel malt flavor with lots of pine and a very dry bitter finish that leave a carbonated feeling on ones tongue. meeple (57), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2009 Bottle. Heavy carbonation. Pours caramel colored, thick off white head that dissapates quickly. Nose is hops, floral, pine. Bit of hop bite, bit of caramel malt, slightly bitter finish. Medium full body. Taste is very light, or maybe it’s the intense carbonation. Neat that it manages to be a good lighter ale and also 8.75% ABV, but I usually want my easy drinking beers to be low alcohol. Feed this to someone who doesn’t know its ABV and watch them get hammered.
