Commercial Description:
We the Brewers of Avery Brewing Company, in order to form a more perfect ale, require a new leadership that can liberate us from our quagmires in foreign lands; embrace environmentally sound energy alternatives to imported oil; heal our ailing health care system; free us from tyrannical debt and resurrect the collapsing dollar. We hereby pledge to provide him or her with an ample amount of our Presidential Pale Ale to support in the struggle for the aforementioned goals! Hail to the New Chief!

Not an "Imperial" pale ale, this is a democracy. It's Presidential! Take the all-American pale ale, a bipartisan blend of malt and hops, increase to both Avery Brewing standards, and then, of course, dry hop the result with that most quintessential of American hops, Cascades, and you get this... Ale to the Chief. A brew worthy of the Oval Office! Brewed with Rocky Mountain water, malted barley, hops and yeast.

Bomber. Pours a clear dark gold with a 2 finger creamy off white head that leaves really nice lacing. Nose is malt and citrus. Taste is caramel malt, orange, tart grapefruit and a long lasting pinesap finish. Medium mouth feel. Good stuff.

bomber from grape and gourmet poured into a snifter. pours a beautiful hazy orange with hints of copper and a half inch, foamy white head. aroma is huge and really opens up a few minutes after the pour. scents of big juicy, floral hops, apricot, grapefruit, and sour berries come through. flavor is hop dominant at the outset with tastes of orange, lemon zest, and vanilla that is balanced with a nutty malt backbone and good lasting bitterness. mouthfeel is chewy and slightly thick. surprised this is classified as an American strong, it definitely belongs in the IIPA realm. overall, an excellent beer.

Bottle. Fruity nose, some dark fruits but mostly strawberry, cherry, and faint citrus. Cloudy orange with a brown tint. Well-balanced opening and middle with an off finish, sort of a rising sharp cardboard flavor. Possibly stale hops or oxidation. Hurts the flavor profile but doesn’t ruin it. Thick palate with low carbonation.

One of several New Years Eve delights shared with friends. This poured a hazy bright orange yellow with a robust whte head generating clingy lace. Resinous hop aroma with grapefruit pith and sweet malt coming forward later. Richly malty with a nice fruity hop character-- citrus and melon-- and a solid bitter resionus finish. Big and chewy. Very good.
