Avery Bad Karma

tap at the brewery - Pours orange with a mild tart aroma that includes just a hint of citrus. The flavor is tart with some of that barnyard funk. What got me was the really freaking weird finish. I kept sipping it wondering what I was tasting. It’s very earthy and not in a good way. I once had one of those deliberately bad jelly beans (harry potter things) that’s "dirt" flavored. It tasted like potting soil smells. yeah, this finish reminded me of that for some reason. Not good.

On tap @ Avery tasting room poured a clear copper with a minimal lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of barnyard, citrus, light leather and a hint of carmel. Palate was light bodied crisp and slightly tart. Flavors of carmel, barnyard funk, cashews, light leather and a hint of citrus with a smooth lingering lightly tart finish.
