Avery tap room 9/22/09. Aroma; faint floral, great aroma slight smell of freshly opened plastic toys/peachy floral perfume. Taste; Oh my god! sweet tarts, beautiful brett provides sensation like licking 9 volt, fizzy Sprite soda, sour lime. (normally brett is labeled as horsey but this is froggy/pond scum.)

On tap at Stone Sourfest. Pours with a hazy golden body and a small white head. Aroma of leather, horse hair, brett, lemon and pineapple. Taste is somewhat sweet up front, with lemon, pineapple, apricot and exotic fruits. Medium to light carbonation. Would love it if Avery bottled some of their sours other than Brabant.

Light cloudy golden color, gigantic off-white lacy head. Nose bursts w/ apricot and funky cheese...a beautiful nose fo sho. Flavors contain more apricot but grains seem to get in the way...like a sour mash beer. Some dry apricots in the finish. The sourness in this beer is weak, and the grains get in the way, but that nose was nice as hell.

Tasted at Stone Sour Fest. Hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Sour grain aroma and taste with some hay/straw notes and a nice zesty finish.
