mj (4975), Colorado, USA Feb 28, 2009 pale brown. nose has a medium tartness and a strong note of raw,
unsweetened berries, which also happens to be the dominant flavor.
Woody, earthy, dried leaves and nut flavors provide an interesting
contrast to the husky dried berry note throughout. Base malts are
clean, simple and straightforward. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA Feb 20, 2009 Crushed with Jakebra at the tasting room. Got some nice roast, coffee, vanilla on the nose. Flavor is roasty with the raspberries really coming through. Pretty damn nice. ratman197 (3139), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jan 8, 2009 On tap at Avery Tasting Room poured a lightly hazy reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of cocoa, raspberry, light carmel and light vanilla. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of raspberry, cocoa and light carmel with a smooth lingering fruity finish.
