Medium body, dry roasted maltiness with an edge of tart overripe fruit with a distinct dry Brettiness in the finish. Very interesting. 231109

[ Trade by toncatcher ]. Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, brett, sour - tart, grape, red wine, wood. Flavor is light heavy sweet, moderate acidic and bitter with a long duration, and a dry finish. Sep 2, 2009 Bottle from Paiste2002, thanks! Deep dark brown color, steady head. Oak, apple vinegar, grapes and mustard in the aroma. Vinous flavor with roast, just a hint of chocolate, oak, subdued sourness and a caremelly bitterness. Complex beer, like imperial stout meets Rodenbach grand cru. I really liked it.
