Commercial Description:
Lupulin Rapture Incarnate! As fervent devotees of hops, we found ourselves on a quest to create a transcendental IPA capable of quenching our voracious lupulin desires. Our mantra became “unity of bitterness, hop flavor and aroma.” Enlightened, duganA IPA was born: A brutally bitter, dank, piney and resinous ale designed for those seeking a divine hop experience.

sampled at gabf. yellow clear and not as enticing as most avery beers. slight nose of hop crisp fresh cut grass. slightly sweet malt backbone. need another 1 oz sample to see where this really ends up on the scale. im not sure of the in between their ipa and maharaja. both are outstanding and i feel this is less superior.

BGH: tap: tulip: all the makings of a classic honestly... headstrong sweaty, oily, piny hops... the taste is much the same. In my opinion the style is better than regular IPA, and this brew is an example of that. Deep complexity, some lightly roasted malts and sugars, earthy, woodsy tones... and delicious hops!

Orangish pour. White head. Tons of hops...pine, floral and citrus. Flavor is hoppy as hell but has some nice juicy malts as well. Good damn beer!!

Deep bronze colored body with a slightly off white head. The nose has lots of grapefruit and sugar cookies. There is also a little bit of resiny woody pine sap goodness. The taste has lots of grapefruit up front with a little bit of wood and tons of brown sugar molasses in the finish. There is also a little bit of pancakes throughout. A thick chewy body complements the sweeter IPA. A nice one that is a little hot, but it works.

Bomber. Clear orange with a sizable tan head. Aroma is lots of resin/pine hops. Flavor is largely the same, accompanied by some caramel malt. It’s a good IIPA, but I wouldn’t necessarily say there’s anything particularly unique about it.

Clear orange with a nice fluffy white head. Herbal grassy citrus aroma. Tastes of caramel grapefruit grass pine and sage. Very well balanced without any harshness from the hops.

Pours gold into the glass with a white head. Aroma is pine resin and some citrus. Flavor is intense hop bitterness. Everything seems to be going according to plan, except for the extremely thin body. Alcohol is somewhat apparent, but I just can’t get passed the thin body.
