Commercial Description:
Lupulin Rapture Incarnate! As fervent devotees of hops, we found ourselves on a quest to create a transcendental IPA capable of quenching our voracious lupulin desires. Our mantra became “unity of bitterness, hop flavor and aroma.” Enlightened, duganA IPA was born: A brutally bitter, dank, piney and resinous ale designed for those seeking a divine hop experience.

650 ml bottle from Bev4less. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a medium off-white head that soon recedes and leaves a bit of sticky lacing. The nose is moderately strong with pine, soap, caramel and some citrus. The flavor is similarly soapy, with supporting biter pine, caramel, bit of grapefruit and some not to well hidden hot alcohol. The palate is full and malty with lively carbonation. The finish is medium in duration with lingering soap. Overall: An overtly hoppy IPA that is sometimes harsh, not my favorite by a long shot, too much soapy pine for me.

Bomber from Orland Park Binny’s. Pours clear golden copper with 3-finger off-white head. Aroma is loaded with grapefruit, bright citrus, pine and pungent hops. Flavor is grapefruit, pine, bitter hops and a good amount of sweet malt. Finishes bitter with a touch of cloying sweetness from all the malt. This is a pretty solid DIPA but prefer The Maharaja and even Ale to the Chief over this.

Copper body beneath an attractive large creamy white head. Lovely aromas of grapefruit and sweetness. Palate is resiny and flavors of grapefruit, pine. Very nice sipper and well put together. Some similarities to Majaraja. Good stuff.

Strong pine and grapefruit aroma. Orange and very clear. Bright pine taste. Grapefruit is really prominent. No malt to speak of. Very bright taste. Excellent.

Aroma: A nose of pine and citrus with some toffee as well
Appearance: Slightly cloudy orange-amber, fluffy head
Flavor: Taste is a nice hop flavor with some malt backing
Palate: Medium body and somewhat long duration
Overall Impression: Overall, I thought this made for a more then solid DIPA, not one of the best one’s I’ve ever had, but one I would certainly like to drink again in the future. A nice offering from Avery.

Bomber into pint glass. Amazing aroma -- fruity and piney hops. Very juicy aroma. Nice clear copper color with a good white head that leaves great lace. The flavor is not as complex with its hop profile, though it is still quite tastey. The flavor is nice, but pretty much all resinous bitter hops. Its pretty far up there as far a biting bitterness. Strong medium body with medium carbonation. Overall: a great beer I will revisit, but only one or two more times seeing as its $7 a bomber here in Ohio.

22 oz bottle @ redlight redlight. Fresh hops on the nose, grapefruity, resiney, dank aromas. Pours a dark golden blonde with a thick white head. Very spicy hops, grapefruit peel, piney, rich mouthfeel, solid malt base with caramel notes. Solid double ipa.

Draft at Dilly Deli. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy, citrus and pine hop aroma. Medium body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bitter hop flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a good beer that was better then my expectations.
