Commercial Description:
We're hopheads. We LOVE hops. Just can't seem to get enough of them. To satisfy our lupulin desires and to commemorate our anniversary, we've created ELEVEN. Describing this double IPA as "aggressively hopped" is an understatement. Words cannot describe what your olfactory senses are about to enjoy. Yes, it's hoppy. Shockingly hoppy. 90 IBUs.

This truly for the hop heads.I will rate this beer non bias.I didnt like the full onslaught of hops but this beer is what Avery was after therefore it should be rated high.It did remind me of Hog Heaven just not as sweet or powerful.Hops from one end to the other.

Bottle 22 oz. Hazy golden color with medium head that diminished quickly. Complex aroma of hops, citrus and caramel. Medium body with creamy texture. Well balanced flavor similar to aroma with a long smooth bitter finish. Very good unusual brew.

Thanks to hopdog for this one!! Almost clear peach pour with a substantial dense & rocky beige head. Very nice intricate lacing. Hoppy aroma with grapefruit, lemon zest, pine needles, and sweet caramel malts. A tingly hoppy assault hits the tastebuds first. Flavor followed the aroma quite closely, with a little butterscotch toward the back of the mouth. Finish was long and bitter, with predominantly citrus and pine present. Brew coated the mouth well and had an oily texture.

Milky hazen bronzed peach. Densely fought light beige cap of medium stature is raised from an average pour. Whimsical lacing in droppingly curtainous strings. Keeps a slight skim and collar as its consumed. Simple, delicate, balanced, and playful aroma of moderate caramel candy chews and highly sweetened pine-sided hops with a squeeze of lemon splashed orange marmalade. Oily hop heat emerges as it warms with a tinting of cinnamon leaves and peach pits. Flavors mirror the wonderful display in the aroma nearly perfectly. Very nice renditions of fresh, soft, chewy caramel with sliverings of orange tingles upfront. Middle finishes the caramel with more of darker toffee roast, cinnamon sugared doughnuts, and slightly burnt citric hops of peach, orange, and pineapple. Finishes with a medium and moderate leveled bitterness of pine sap with creepings of toasted orange and grapefruit juices. Mixes lightly with left over caramel thats been a bit abused with a rougher edged, almost torn or scorchyness to its profile. Partial light drying takes on a small leafyness in the hops. But it stays well balanced with more of a toasted/scorched finish of both the caramel and the citrusy stuff and the bitterness. I tend to taste a lean towards the caramel throughout its character though. Feel is super clean and well balanced in a light to creamy medium body. Hoppyness is actually low ended, yet active enough for some attention, as is the heat and the bitterness. But the flavors are sweet and fun with a fascinatingly smooth absorbtion. Goes down very, very easily. Slippery and quenching. The 9% is hardly evident. A reminscent clone to a Stone brew with a tad lighter body. Good stuff and slides down with amazing ease.

An orange beer with a small beige head. The aroma is nicely hoppy with some notes of alfa acids combined with slight notes of alcohol and peaches. The flavor is sweet alcoholic with strong notes of hops - giving it a very dry end and a good body. Nice one.

22oz bottle poured bright amber with a huge rocky offwhite head that coats the side of the glass and stands a good 4 inches tall and will stand right over the rim of the glass. Aroma is citrus grapefruit and a touch of pine mixed well with caramel malts and a touch of honey. The hops I’m sure have faded some since this is a year old now but they are certainly still there to jump on my tongue first then blend nicely with the malts. On the palate this is medium bodied and very smooth. No hint of the alcohol for me just a very smooth tasting and smooth on the palate pretty double IPA here. Glad I got to try this even if it was a shade old

Beautiful beer: frothy lush white head over an orange, crystal clear body. The aroma is just as delectable with its hoppy, honey-filled, sweet, fruity essences. The flavor is not as well-balanced, yet it is still a decent beer. The flavor is not quite as sweet as I expected, so the hops really jump out at you in its bitterness. A slight alcohol burn, but it mixes well with the hops.

Light copper color with thick, lasting white lace - very herbal and flowery aroma, with background hints of grapefruit - malty up front, with some caramel and pastry-like breadiness - gradual swelling hops lead to a palate cleansing, dry, hoppy finish - pretty well done - almost as good as their regular imperial IPA.
