I’ve got about an inch of a very pretty orange/golden color body with a gi-normus foamy head. Haven’t seen a head like that since Yard’s IPA. Nice piney hop nose. The flavor’s a thick resiny pine needle taste with a nicly balanced citrus and sweet malt finish. Definately tamer than the last couple I have had (which were both in august and sept.). Very enjoyable! ratman197 (3262), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Has a big hoppy nose full of citrus and pine. Good thick resiny mouthfeel typical of a nice highly hoppped double IPA. Great citrusy hop flavor with a little pine, with a good malt backbone. If you cant stand the hops, stay out of the IPAs! Radek Kliber (3986), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Here should I finish, but I simply can’t. Readers need to know more, right? Ok then, here we go: hops, hops then with next sip I had hops. But wait! - Hops. Oi ! But, it was actually surprising. Very Avery in character, with a huge hop nose. Glowing orange, similar to Dreadnaught. Taste was all hops, bitter with a nice backdrop of malt to hold it up. At first, a bit thin, but as it warmed a little the body came through. A good one! joeycapps (1466), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada

Big hoppy aroma of grapefruit, pine, & leafy tobacco. Thick, resiny feel. Flavour is surprisingly sweet & malty, yet big & hoppy nonetheless. Long, bitter finish. I would have been happy with a bottle of this all night. Rounded edges with malt. I am a fan of this brewery.
Last call at Radekfest 05, thanks for bringing MDS.
