Commercial Description:
We're hopheads. We LOVE hops. Just can't seem to get enough of them. To satisfy our lupulin desires and to commemorate our anniversary, we've created ELEVEN. Describing this double IPA as "aggressively hopped" is an understatement. Words cannot describe what your olfactory senses are about to enjoy. Yes, it's hoppy. Shockingly hoppy. 90 IBUs.

Lovely hoppy aroma, actually with a bit of malt to balance, go figure. One dimensional flavor with hop juice and booze. Very bitter. I knew Avery wasn’t gonna go all subtle on me. Still pretty nice though.

bottle. I picked this up in Phoenix and just got around to trying it at Radek’s on Saturday. We were already starting to wind down at this point after trying so many new beers. another big hoppy beer! thick orange body. hops are like a punch in the face! 90+ IBUs is just fantastic, it’s a hopheads delight. starts out sweet and wonderfully hoppy. long sticky bitter finish. decent balance.

Radekfest 05 Bottle. Golden body, small white head. Big hoppy hoppy aroma. Fresh green leafy hops are in both the aroma and the flavour. Some subtle citrus sneaks past in the finish. Average medium palate. Very nice beer for hopheads but needs a bit more complexity to that it to the next level. Alcohol is practically undetectable, well balanced. <P> Radekfest 05 according to IPFreely

" Yeah I hate those IBUs. if you get more than like 22 of those f**kers in a beer it really sucks! "

BIG hoppy aroma. Damn I love this beer. Great balance between hops & malt. Starts hoppy but finishes smooth & malty. I have no idea what flavors I detect but I do know this is one enjoyable 2IPA. I’d definiteyl drink this again. Damn you Avery! You bastards totally suck for only brewing this for one year.

Cellar temp. Mountainous head—stunning to behold. Massive grapefruit, but very fresh grapefruit—important. Super hoppy but not resinous; always impressive. Rich flavors hints of dark fruits. How do you get dark fruits in a IPA, pitching with huge amount of yeast? Anyway, very nice aftertaste. Beautiful to behold and very, very nice to drink.

I’ll be honest, I had a bomber of this at about 3 AM last night and it wasn’t exactly my first beer. You get the point. I do however recall that this had a pungent floral aroma with a medium cream head and generous lacing. Stinging bitter finish and when a girl in the room took a drink of my beer she made a face like someone had pinched her and exclaimed that it was the most bitter thing she had ever tasted. Not quite baby.

Very aromatic; fruity, hoppy, resinous. Amber/orange appearance that was slightly hazy. Malty sweetness with a touch of honey balanced the bitter, hoppy taste. Rich, smooth with a medium-to-full bodied mouthfeel. Finished on the sweet side.

Ruby hued amber with a larger forthy head and sheets of lacing. It’s a looker! Warm aromas of biscuits. Fresh hops: citrus (orange and grapefruity), pine, grass, and floral. Sweet malts in the forma of caramel. Hints of mangoes. Flavors are great. Bitterness is first and foremost. The fresh hops come through in the same aspects as the nose. Definately lots of grapefruit. The pink kind. Those mangoes are back again. Tangy palate with a thick and sticky palate. Finishes with citrus fruits. Awesome BEER! Thanks goes to Santa on this one! Thanks Eric!
