Commercial Description:
We're hopheads. We LOVE hops. Just can't seem to get enough of them. To satisfy our lupulin desires and to commemorate our anniversary, we've created ELEVEN. Describing this double IPA as "aggressively hopped" is an understatement. Words cannot describe what your olfactory senses are about to enjoy. Yes, it's hoppy. Shockingly hoppy. 90 IBUs.

Hop monstrosity right here. Big, sticky sweet hop flavor with lots of pine and fresh mowed grass in the aroma. Avery went HUGE on this one!

Amber/orabge color, small slightly off white head that had a good hangtime then faded to a small lace.Nice malty aroma with a fantastic grapefruit and some what semi-sweet side and very nice hop presence as it warms you get a slight pine needle aroma as well.Sort malty sweet upfront then a nice gentle change to grapefruit and hops with nice medium bitterness to it.The bitterness in the after taste doesn’t linger forever but stays with you for a limited time that is quite good. Thanks go to Wunderbier for sending this very nice DIPA my way.

Bottle. Hazy orange body with a two finger foamy heady. Nose is hopppy (go figure). Very bitter on the finish. Taste up front has grapefruit, pine, and hay. After taste is mindblowing. A smoothness and richness I cannot describe. The bitterness takes a little bit away from the taste, but other than that this is flawless.

(Bottle) Pours a light cloudy orange with a medium-sized beige head. Has an incredibly fresh grapefruit and floral aroma! Smelled like someone just sliced one open in front of me. Full bodied and well balanced. Enjoyable!

Good reed body for an IPA, with a decent sized head as well. The aroma is much to my liking. Hoppy. Floral. Sweet, and just a bit bitter. The hop action in this mostly at the end of the mouthfeel. It starts rather sweet and subdued, a rather basic sweet mouthfeel. Then when it hits the back of the throat, then you get the kick and your jaw muscles begin to tingle a bit.

I was hyped up for my first double IPA, but it was a let down. I don’t know how old this bottle was, but I was expecting a brutal hop kick. My favorite IPA, Bell’s 2 Hearted has more, I swear. The alcohol was well-hidden. Tingly mouthfeel. Piney and floral hops. Not bad, just not what I was expecting.

I don’t ever expect much from "annivesary" duople IPAs, but this one was really quite nice. Very well balanced and not overbearing with the hops. Tasty indeed.

bottle. pours a light amber with a creamy dark off white head.with a strong citrus hop aroma. taste is more subdued than i expected. has a strong malt flavor that keeps the hoppiness in check. but the flavor is very enjoyable and i love the finish, smooth and rich pear flavor.
