Commercial Description:
We're hopheads. We LOVE hops. Just can't seem to get enough of them. To satisfy our lupulin desires and to commemorate our anniversary, we've created ELEVEN. Describing this double IPA as "aggressively hopped" is an understatement. Words cannot describe what your olfactory senses are about to enjoy. Yes, it's hoppy. Shockingly hoppy. 90 IBUs.

An orange beer with a small beige head. The aroma is nicely hoppy with some notes of alfa acids combined with slight notes of alcohol and peaches. The flavor is sweet alcoholic with strong notes of hops - giving it a very dry end and a good body. Nice one.

(Bottle 65 cl) Amber coloured beer with a rather small head. Incredibly delicate, fresh, flowery, hoppy nose. Rather sweet caramel malts in the flavour although an extremely dominating aromatic hoppiness quickly takes over. Very complex and tasty beer. 300605

Bottled. Pale amber, brief head. Rich grapefruit aroma. Full bodied and sweet with clean mouthfeel. Sugary and enourmously hoppy with extremely bitter finish. An ambitious beer that misses the target. The malt profile is too hard and clean, it’s too sweet and the biterness in the finish is like ink.

Clear amber body topped by medium beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, pine, some pink grapefruit. Taste is mild sweet, very bitter pine, grapefruit. Unbalanced. Medium-full body, alcohol well hidden.

Poured a hazy medium to dark amber with a large tan head. Aromas of oranges, grapefruits, some flowers, grass and malts. Nice sweet and bitter balance. Easy to drink. Mmmm, very good.

22oz: Amber to orange hue, mostly clear, gentle off-white 1cm foam. Surprisingly sweet orange and honey aroma. It feels very candyish up the nostrils, a grapefruit yeast candy is how I put it. On the palate, this is an hop salad, extremely grapefruity, not quite harsh, less than expected anyway, but still very bitter, aggressively dry, teeth attacking and with a poor toothpaste aftertaste. I feel like anything could add balance to this. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed how the body seems to evolve from rather watery at first into a creamier blend as it warms.

Pours a nice rich copper color with a thick and well-lacing off-white head. Bold, sweet grapefruity aroma with a good hop presence. Nice sweet caramel candy maltiness in the body is well balanced with an assertive fresh piney hoppiness that imparts a load of grapefruit flavor to the beer. Finishes dry, crisp, refreshing and hides the alcohol very well. A quite enjoyable double IPA. Thanks TAR for picking this up for me!
