Jan 19, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a tan head with a caramel brown brown body. Smells of caramel biscuits and hops. Tastes the same. The hops are mild but the fact that they are makes me like them.

Jan 18, 2009 This a damn fine ale! I must admit, was skeptical about trying a beer with an ugly dog on it, but I figured what the heck. This has a nice murky dark brown color. Has hints of malts, nuts, coffee, and something sweet that I just can’t put my finger on. Taste is a smooth, lighter bodied brown ale. Tastes of malts, nuts, and a little bit of a burnt coffee. Nice and smooth. Has a nice and tasty finish. And absolute pleasure to have tried this one.

Jan 9, 2009 Very nice dark brown color with a white forming head. Great taste of malts and a very nutty feel and taste. Good hops not to much though. Good brew!

Jan 4, 2009 Pours a dark barely translucent brown with a decently frothy head. Light aroma includes some toasted malts and a slight fruitiness. Flavor is mostly toasted malt, some nuttiness and a little bitterness from the hops. Overall has character but not overpowering.
