| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 23, 2008 12 oz. bottle on 2/23/2008. Deep. clear brown body under a healthy, foamy light tan head that collapses pretty quickly. Nice malty aroma with notes of molasses, caramel, and roasted nuts. Smooth medium body with a gentle richness and light stickiness. The malty sweetness dominates the flavor, layered over a very soft bitterness that provides a subtle balance. Very easy to drink, not assertive, a good session beer that would match up well with a variety of foods. Collint (465), Sylva, North Carolina, USA
