Bottle thanks Kristi!! Dark brown small white head. Nice aroma - malty, almost nutty and hoppy. Great taste- so malty and hoppy. Roasted and nutty and hoppy. A very very good brown ale.

Dec 5, 2009 Beige head and a cloudy brown color. Caramel malt aroma with some nutty notes about. Smooth and creamy palate. Nutty taste, along with a modicum of chocolate flavor. Heavy amount of malts with minimum amount of hops, but you know that they are there. Leaves aftertaste for a while.

Dec 3, 2009 It poured a dark slightly red liquid with a small dirty white foam. Smell and taste of malt and caramell. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness and medium body.

Nov 20, 2009 Bottle. Ölrepubliken, Göteborg. Brown colour with a beige head. Aroma: malty & sweet, dried fruit, figs, caramel. Flavor: sweet & malty, lightly roasted, nutty, caramel, dried fruits, chocolate. Sweet, but a bit more dry towards the finish.

Nov 18, 2009 Great sessionable brown. All of the qualities one would expect. Tons of cocoa, roasted malt, dark coffee, and brown sugar. A little thin but this is supposed to be highly drinkable. Hard to beat for what it is going after.

Malty aroma. Amber coloured and hoppy with a little citrus flavour. Some dryness and roast in a chocolate malt finish.

Nov 11, 2009 Deep brown body with a light tan head. The nose is light apples with hints of leather. There is also a little bit of sweet potato. The taste has some nice notes of coffee and a little bit of milk chocolate. Notes of apple peel come through. This is a solid and very drinkable brown ale.

Clear dark brown color, big fluffy off-white lasting head. Fruity, hoppy, grainy, malty, sweet, some alcohol scent. Also a bit acidic and some alcohol notes. Malty, caramel, grainy, alcohol taste. A bit harsh. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Fruity aftertaste.
