Commercial Description:
For 14 wonderful years, we have been creating libations for ourselves in the hope that some others out there would share our eccentric palates and support us. Many thanks to all of you who do! Here is yet another quirky brew: a very dark and different, dry-hopped ale. Style? hard to say, you decide. Just expect massive molasses maltiness, limitless fruits on the nose and an imposing floral & zesty dry-hop finish. Peace to all and follow your dreams!

They weren’t kidding about massive maltiness. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Malt dominates the aroma with some dark fruit, I didn’t sense as much hops, but it is an older bottle. Malty throughout and it was a little creamy as well. Decent brew, almost a little too sweet for me.

Thanks to Pollo. Pours a dark brown color with creamy head. Medium to heavy bodied. Malty and sweet, fruit of bananas. It is a stomach/heart warmer. Delicious.

Dark brown in color with a medium light-brown head. Aroma is resinous hops and caramel. Flavor is malty - caramel, light toffee, and a kind of wierd resiny hop combo. A decent beer, but a littly wierd on the palate being a pine-caramel combination. Finish lingers with both of these flavors battling as they subside...

Black beer with huge dark head. Aroma of hops and a lot of malt. The beer was not fresh so it didn’t have that much hop flavor. A great beer with a complex malt character.

Bottle pours black with a slight amount of light passing through. Has a thin off white head. Aromas are malty with a slight hop aroma. Mouthfeel is is medium with a stinging sensation from the carbonation. Taste is mainly malt upfront with a slight hop presence on the finish. Overall this is not a bad brew. I had the chance to try one fresh about a year ago and it had a lot more hop aroma to it and hop flavor. Its aged somewhat well over the past year. I rate it on the merits of the two I’ve tried. Overall this is a fine brew. It was better fresh.
