Commercial Description:
For 14 wonderful years, we have been creating libations for ourselves in the hope that some others out there would share our eccentric palates and support us. Many thanks to all of you who do! Here is yet another quirky brew: a very dark and different, dry-hopped ale. Style? hard to say, you decide. Just expect massive molasses maltiness, limitless fruits on the nose and an imposing floral & zesty dry-hop finish. Peace to all and follow your dreams!

Bright ruby brown with a huge head that froths up high and falls down fast. Sounds like falling snow. Interesting aroma - charred, plummy, woody, brown sugary with canned tomato. Not terribly cohesive but it’s interesting. Full body with a big warming alcohol splash. Chocolately body with lots of burntness though it’s not very acrid thankfully. Some plummy, fruity depths, again, more interesting than cohesive. I’m sure with this much alcohol this beer would wear thin quickly.

Dark brown color; creamy head. Nice aroma, not too strong, balanced, perfumy, where some nice hop preveals over the sweet caramel; in a short while the hop increases. Medium thick mouthfeel, quite oily, with strong malt/caramel flavor, some sugars, just balanced by an equally strong hopping. The final is less hop-aromatic than expected, maybe even less long (or is it the caramel to be too much?). But very good indeed (hedonistic).

(22oz bottle) Large, rocky beige head atop cola black body. Aroma is moderately sweet, herbal, some grapefruit, caramel, dark chocolate. Taste is sweet, plum/raisin, herbal, chocolate, vinous, floral/grapefruit, caramel. Low carbonation, sticky full body. A hodgepodge of flavors, the net effect of which is a whole that’s less than the sum of its parts.

Dark mahogany with a red hue and a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has sweetness, malt, caramel, fruit and hops. The flavour is sweetish but with a nice hoppyness and a surprisingly nice bitterness. It has notes of malt, fruit, grapefruit, hops and the finish is dry. IMO a tiny bit out of balance, but it is a very nice beer! Thank you so much Tom/After4ever!!

Bottle shared with the wolf and 2 other. Thank Martin for this treat. Pours a deep wine red colour with a medium head leaving a good lacing. Quite sweet toasty aroma with dark fruits, hops and alcohol. Good mouthfeel. Roasted, bitter, dry fruitish flavour with a nice maltiness, some spices and some alcohol. Very tasty brew.

Bottle. A very dark brown beer with a red shine and a big beige head. The aroma is light yeasty, roasted, caramel malt, fruity, hoppy and light alcoholic. The taste is yeasty, light roasted, fruity, sugary and hoppy. Medium body with a sweet dry, light alcoholic finish. Quit interresting and good!
