OzarkElmo (117), Poplar Bluff, Missouri, USA Mar 25, 2009 Updated: Jun 3, 2009From Bottle into Tulip. Poured hazy golden yellow with medium head which mostly diminishes but lingers with the lacing. Aroma of citrus, pine. Hoppy taste and to me quite dry and bitter, especially in the finish. But that is what they tell you to expect. Overal a good, well above-average American IPA - and a map to boot - Cheers! Adam77 (407), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA Mar 24, 2009 Poured hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of citrus and pine. Solid IPA. Slugable. ROGUE (621), Newark, Delaware, USA Mar 22, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a light, clear copper with a two finger white head that hangs around for awhile and little lacing. Not a strong aroma, but there is some citrus hops and pine, plus some malt in the back. The taste very citrusy with a lot of hop flavor, but also a lot of bread and biscuit taste from the malt and some hints of fruit present. Easy to enjoy with a bold flavor. GMCC2181 (845), Bear, Delaware, USA Mar 15, 2009 Bottle shared by andrew. Light yellow in color, Nice head. Good hoppy aroma. Taste has a nice hop bite upfront but well balanced by the malt presence. Light texture, easy drinking. Overall, considering this bottle was about a year old....i was impressed. jeff789 (357), Pennsylvania, USA Mar 10, 2009 Pours a clear copper color with a dense white head, nice retention, nice lacing... Citrusy aroma up front backed nicely by mildly sweet malts... Thinner than expected body, a few citrus hops, but more earthy and medicinal hops than i remember... Nice beer, not as great as i remember, but certainly a worthy beer in the IPA world... crackedmachine (82), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 10, 2009 Clear, pale orange. Light white head. Pleasant floral, citrus aroma. The flavor is pure pine and citrus. Slight bitter finish. Overall an outstanding regular IPA: tasty hops, not overwhelmingly bitter, medium bodied, goes down easy. jujubeast6000 (772), Houston, Texas, USA Mar 9, 2009 Reviewed 3/6/2009 (Tap @ Flying Saucer, Houston, TX):
