coyotehunter (542), , Michigan, USA Oct 28, 2008 Half way decent head, a light amber pour. Not the color I expect from an IPA.
Hoppy and piney to the nose, but not so much on the mouth. kind of a hoppy flavor, a little citrus. Yeasty metal shit aftertaste. Not bad, but not great.
Hard to compare to Two Hearted, but what isnt? Beardface (977), Eugene, Oregon, USA Oct 23, 2008 Pretty orange pour with a big pine aroma and a smashing hops taste. Very balanced and a nice bitter finish to a solidly tasty product. ditmier (1021), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 18, 2008 2008 Bottle - Pours pale yellow with a small off-white head...aroma is sweet pine, malt...flavour has no surprises, not as bitter as I expected, good but not great... maugus4ever (121), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA Oct 12, 2008 Pours a light copper with a medium off white head and good lacing. Aroma is citrusy hops, and flavor is similar. Slightly malty up front with a serious hop finish. Not bad. mcmd (132), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Oct 1, 2008 Pours a clear light orange with decent off white head. Aroma is floral and piney hops, a little yeast. Flavor is malt up front on a bed of floral and citrus hops, slight fruitiness. Very pleasant bitterness in the finish. Solid IPA. Nik925 (300), California, USA Sep 29, 2008 The aftertaste lingers for days is an off metal bitter yuck. Not a bad beer, reminds me of S.N. Southern Hemi Fresh hop minus the extra kick. Its good and hoppy but the malt comes up thin. Some lacing hardly any head and piss yellow color kill the appearance score. I rate IPAs way to hard, this is a good beer, but I’ll pass on it in the future for better beers. waolsen (1220), Littleton, Colorado, USA Sep 29, 2008 wow I can’t believe I haven’t rated this yet. this is one of my staple 6ers. Very solid IPA with large piney hops and a nice balance. nice bitterness in finish. always a sure thing. cab (861), Denmark Sep 26, 2008 Bottle.Old rating. Columbus, Styrian Goldings and Centennial hops used for this one. It pours clear amber-orange with an average sized creamy head that mostly diminished but left good lacing.
