Has some hops with a sweetness, a tad of citrus and some mild malt in the finish. Not bad at all but not what I was hoping for. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 18, 2008 This definitely has a very clean hop nose, full of fresh citrus fruits, and that’s pretty much it, a slight background of cookie dough maltiness. Not much to this other than hops, so if that pleases you than this is your beer. I was looking for a little bit more. UnholyBrewing (448), Melbourne(Mulgrave), Australia

It was still decent, and I have had stronger IPA’s of course, but this one was pretty drinkable. Pale, light, and good with food. jjuf1853 (471), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 17, 2008 Bottle pours a clear, light, amber coloer with a foamy two finget head. Aroma is
floral, orange, hops, and pine. More pine and hops in the flavor with a decent bitter aftertaste, but milder than your usual IPA. Very smooth and drinkable.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 14, 2008 Bottle. Fairly light golden orange pour with very minimal head. Nose was strongly reminiscent of Hopslam’s fruit aromas to me, albeit a watered down version of course. Grapefruit and mango but definite pine/resin, too. Oddly, I passed it to my wife for a sip and when she passed it back to me I got a floral explosion on the nose that I hadn’t detected before. Fruit almost disappears on the palate with the pine really dominating until the fruit reappears on the back of the palate/sides of the tongue at the end of each taste. Slight metallic/soapy edge there, as well, though, and a little watery. Nice and bitter if that’s your bag. I’d drink again but definitely reach for a Dogfish 60 or a Two Hearted first. abcfan (247), New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 14, 2008 Decent brew. Average overall, nothing really stands out to me. Aroma is sugary sweet, smooth flavor of pine and citrus. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Very drinkable. blutt59 (2092), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 9, 2008 Golden colored with perhaps a hint of orange in there with a nice foamy head. Nice pine needle, citrus hop aroma. Bitter piney hop flavor with a touch of light malt that balances it nicely. Flavor seemed rather tame and easy drinking for the style. Perhaps because it lacks a powerful citrus, grapefruit hoppy flavor often associated with IPA’s. This is bitter and hoppy but smooth and actually pretty refreshing. This a solid IPA I’ll have no problem going back to. In a taste test, not quite as good as the Clipper City Loose Cannon IPA.
