grant (792), Long Beach, CA/Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 23, 2007 A nice light orange with frothy head. Rich aroma with tangerine and roses, light crackermeal malt. Creamy body with plenty of fresh citrus, light pine and a drawn out, gradually creschendoing attractively bitter finish buried amidst rather low carbonation levels. A nice soft example of the style. Taverner (825), San Ramon, California, USA Oct 23, 2007 It’s a decent IPA. Pours golden and clear with minimal head. The head was thin, white and frothy. Moderately bitter, but not a sweet beer. A good IPA for the uninitiated. portermax55 (118), Canterbury, Connecticut, USA Oct 22, 2007 12oz. bottle into pint glass. Pours a cloudy, pale gold color with a medium white head that laces nicely. Heavy aromas of grapefruit, lemon and hops. Flavor was of citrus fruit, hops with a nice, but not over-powering bitter finish. Mouthfeel was very smooth and soft, but had an awful lot of carbonation. Very hoppy, but not over the edge. Good stuff. T2Tool (352), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Oct 19, 2007 A nice cooper pour from a bottle with a huge white head, although it was a stiff pour which may have contributed to that. A piney hops smell. The hops hit hard at the start. Bitter on the tongue with some citrus flavor coming through. craftbeerdesign (731), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA Oct 14, 2007 bottle. very solid IPA from a wonderful brewery. hoppy, dark golden and just right. gremlin45 (12), New Haven, Connecticut, USA Oct 2, 2007 Got this nice one down the street at Amity. I really love the flavor of this IPA, nicely hopped! cheapdark (2011), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 1, 2007 At first aroma was a bit sour but in the glass its certainly more hoppy, perhaps even some pine needles. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager appearance and color. Initiall swallow is not too bad but don’t let up. Because when you do it’s bitter hops in yer eye. Each sips has a rude bitter medicinal feel to it. Yes sir, you can tell its 6%. About average carbonation. Good example of the style; bumptious and just plain offensive. raphael (411), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 29, 2007 moderate hop aroma, a little honey. straw colored, adequate head, smooth down the throat, sharp hops, not quite metallic, just the slightest malt background, raggedy finish7
