Avery IPA

Bottle. Hops aroma, light grapefruit, lemon grass. Orange with frothy full tan head. Palate is fairly creamy. Good balance of malt and hops. Sweet up front with a bitter finish. Not overly hopped. Light saltiness with some citrus accents. Good, smooth, and drinkable.

This IPA has a nice, warm golden color and a good head. The aroma is nicely hopped with notes of citrus fruit and a bit of caramel. I find the same notes in the flavour, that has a nice bitterness. Good...refreshing brew

Cloudy amber with fruity nose. Surpisingly full-bodied, malty flavors with big orange and bread undertones. Good finish. Hops restrained by the full flavors. Love this style.

Bottle. Loads of lychee and pineapple to match the grapefruit nose. Fresh fruitiness is extremely enticing. Clear golden pour with a creamy, lacing beige head. Moderately strong bittersweet flavor with a nice hop profile. Fullish body with a dusty, hoppy aftertaste and light notes of fruitiness mentioned afore. Floral and citrusy, indeed. Excellent non-brutal IPA, would take this any day.

Bottle. Pleasant floral hop aroma. Flavor is well balanced between malt and hops, but the hop flavor is well pronounced (and tasty).

Good citrus note, with a balanced bitterness. This is everything you would expect from a india pale ale. Good Job.

Bottle. Medium orange in color. Limited to no head. Lightly hoppy with noticeable high alcohol taste. Very smooth and dry. Evaporates quickly

Bottle [Tasting @ Per 23-02-2007]. Head was small fizzy white and quickly goon. Fair lacing. Body was clear sparkling with a pale amber hue. Aroma was lovely pine, elder flower, grapefruit and other citrus notes. Some caramel and grain could be detected in mouth. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and a dry texture. Nice hope bitter flavor with a blend of sweet malt. Not as bitter as expected. As described the malty sweet finish is evident. Solid IPA.
