Clear and with a thick tight head. Typical US ale bitterness, which is an unsophisticated charicature of the UK IPA style, but done to the extreme. If you can ignore the intrusive hoppiness, there is some maltiness too, but you’ll never shake noticing the sweet grapefruity bitterness. larsniclas (3390), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 22, 2006 Bottle courtesy of biz82. Pours a slightly hazy bubbly copper with an average size diminishing fluffy off-white head. Aroma is big time hops, both citrus and floral. Flavour’s the same, big floral and citrus hops taste along with a good amount of sweet malt to balance it out and a nice long bitter dry finish -- delicious! Medium bodied. Very easy to drink and really flavourful, this is a top-notch session IPA. BeerandBlues2 (3231), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
