Fresh fruitiness is extremely enticing. Clear golden pour with a creamy, lacing beige head. Moderately strong bittersweet flavor with a nice hop profile. Fullish body with a dusty, hoppy aftertaste and light notes of fruitiness mentioned afore. Floral and citrusy, indeed. Excellent non-brutal IPA, would take this any day. blutt59 (2145), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 11, 2004 I’ve had plenty of IPAs, and this is the closest to unsweetened grapefruit juice I’ve found. Hazy golden-orange body with suspended floaties and a thick, puffy off-white head. Bright hops aroma heavy on grapefruit rind and pulp. The same grapefruit characteristics absolutely dominate the flavor profile, with malts being an afterthought. There are better IPAs, and many of them. zach8270 (2121), Henrietta, New York, USA

Definite citrus aroma with a strong hint of grapefruit and hops. Good citrusy flavor upfront that gives way to a strong hoppy bite and a slight peppery and bitter finish. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2006 Bottle. Pours a light golden-orange coloured body with a large frothy white head slowly receding leaving lace sheets. Beautiful IPA aroma - tons of orange citrus oil and doughy bread. Big hoppy bite up front...sharp and piney for the most part with an underlying creaminess. Long and chewy bitter finish. A solid IPA!

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2002 Nice copper color with a good head and a very intense floral hoppy nose out of the bottle. I spent the first few minutes with this beer just smelling it. A very dry beer with a great spicy, citrus flavor consistent with a good IPA. Nice bitter hop finish. I agree with very crisp and clean. Very drinkable. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 4, 2009 12 fl. oz bottle@Olympen, Oslo. Huge, airy near-white head. Body is crystal clear, deep gold. Strong hop nose; Lots of pine and resin, dust and metal, less of the more fruity stuff. A pleasant caramel scent reveals after the beer is reaching room temperature. Dryish, restained malt body, with faint caramel. Very generously hopped, especially bittering. More pine and resin, also some citrus zest and and lemon. Taste has a noticable sweetness, but the bittering hops is dominating, giving the beer an acidulous-sour edge. Mid-bodied and oily in the mouth. Lasting, hoppy finish. Straightforward, and maybe one-dimensional, still a potent and highly drinkable IPA.
