It had a smooth fruity, malt start but finished with a hard pleasant bitter. Not much of a head but did have a nice clinging lace. All that said the bottom line is that this was a good beer that I will try again from a bottle and probably re-rate. AmEricanbrew (2005), Almost, Texas, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 28, 2006 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear medium gold with a thick, frothy head. Lots of carbonation bubbles. Pleasant aroma dominated by graprefruit with some pine notes as well. The flavor is also dominated by grapefruit. If there’s malt in this beer, I didn’t taste any of it, as this brew is decidedly hoppy. This is truly a beer made "for hopheads." mar (1973), Dallas, Texas, USA
