It pours clear amber-orange with an average sized creamy head that mostly diminished but left good lacing. Aroma is light bready malts, with a heavy grapefruit hops that jumped out assertively. Moderately sweet with a mild caramel malt flavor upfront. Big bitter hops come on strong leaving a crisp, dry hop finish. Light to medium body, watery texture with lively carbonation and astringent feel in the finish. Nice beer, but could use a touch more maltiness to balance the hops galore! Great aroma. Very fruity hops with a excellent mix of peaches and pears. Could sit here and smell it all night. But what fun would that be. Color is a medium golden orange. Light bodied. Crisp and smooth with a great balance. Plenty of hops in there. Bitterness shows up at the finish and lingers for a while. More fruit in the flavor. Very easy drinking. An excellent IPA. lithy (1825), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Off-white head with excellent retention leaves slight sheets as it recedes to coat surface. Pine and resin aromas. Crisp and well-balanced. Lasting pine and resin finish. Nice one. Taste is of course hops, with some lemon and a little spice. Finish is bitter and very clean. For an IPA the hops are very subdued and mild. Goes down great. A very refreshing easy going IPA. I will be having this again. illinismitty (1801), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 16, 2005 Bottle. Pours golden with a tinge of orange, along with white fizzy head. Nice aroma kick of hops and pine. The flavor is similar, but nicely complimented by the malt. This may not have the bite that some hopheads desire, but I still like this. Nice bitter finish that is refreshing and not too dry. Lingers nicely at the back of the mouth. Good IPA that I will happily drink again YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA

But lately I’ve been enjoying so many excellent IPAs. My Secret Santa sent me two I’m anxious to try. Had this last year but before joining RateBeer. So, I had it again last night and loved it. Nice amber color with frothy white head. Aroma was the appealing grapefruity I associate with the style. Lightly carbonated and a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Flavor was so very refreshing and clean and crisp and grapefruity. Great stuff.
