with a 1 1/2 inch rocky white head. Falls with pretty lacing. Aroma of
faint citrus hops, bright bitterness. Taste is grassy orange citrus
hops, slight bitter, mineral toast maltiness behind that, more grassy
bitterness in the finish. Nice balance. Palate is medium, grassy dry,
mouth coating, tingling carbonation. Nice one, thanks Bill. sloth (1678), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 11, 2006 Pours to a light copper and a white soapy head. Pine-citrus aroma. Strong hop taste with a nice bitter-hop finish. Lacking that great mega-hop boldness, but all-around a pretty good IPA. GG (1654), NorCal, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 16, 2006 Hmm. I had this with high hopes after being really impressed with Mehpistopheles. The IPA just sort of let the air out of me. It wasn’t bad but it was just so...plain. Aroma was pretty weak for an IPA, but when it fails to out perform SNPA somethings wrong. Slightly bitter, some weird funkyness in the nose and very minimal malts. Appearance was dark orange and cloudy. Mouthfeel was medium bodied. Flavors were just off for my tastes. No malt profile, hoppy and that’s really about it. It’s just too unbalanced to receive higher marks.
