| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Dec 26, 2007 Pours a somewhat cloudy honey color, Thinnish white head of small bubbles. Smells of malt more than hops which was surprising but good. Honestly it almost has that sweet type of Belgian smell to it. But it tastes like an IPA. Bitter with a very sweet finish. Lots of hops up front and the malt comes in and sweetens it up. Palate is a little on the thick side but not too thick. A good amount of carbonation. A different take on IPA I think. Very good though. More malt flavors than I usually find in an IPA, but still just the right amount of hops and bitterness. NobleSquirrel (1120), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Head retention is excellent with very nice lacing. The hop flavor comes through nicely with hints of grapefruit. Pwn3d (1114), Manhattan, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 8, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a pretty huey orange/yellow body.. looks like a hefe. Nose is heavily citrus, orange peel, lemon/lime, and pine. Robust hop flavor, less piney and now grapefruit citrus tang coupled with some doughiness. Bitter finish which is a must to be good in this style. Citrus, pine, citrus 3.75 BOLTZ7555 (1113), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
