Apr 19, 2007 Pours copper with a white head. Smells of pine resin, citrus, some floral hints, peppery and some sweet malty hints. Tastes of citrus, sweet malt. Mouthfeel is tingly with a bitter finish.

Oct 5, 2006 Tap @ dba. Deep orange hazy beer with a tight persistant white head. Great fresh hoppy aroma, nose of sweet citrus, pine resin, grapefruit and a bit of orange over some sweet light caramel malt. A touch of biscuity/bready sweetness. Great flavour as well with sweet fruity hops, peach, orange, and pine over a sot bready body. Moderate bitterness. Nice pint.

Jul 1, 2003 Updated: Dec 11, 2008Nice hop aroma consisting of lemons, cantaloupe and banana. Very nicely carbonated. Has a good malt profile, with a perfect hoppy finish. Unlike most IPAs which go overboard, this one is well balanced.

Nov 4, 2004 This poured a clear golden color with a healthy white head. The hoppy aroma is mainly of orange rinds with a little bit of the floral. Tasty medium mouthfeel. There’s a solid nutty malt backbone with some serious grapefruit and orange bitterness. The finish is much less bitter than the taste had me expecting. Good IPA.

Mar 29, 2003 Slightly hazed dark golden color with a big bubbled rocky off white head. Ruby red grapefruit aroma everywhere. Some malt sweetness at the very tip which is quickly swept away with the hops oils. Grapefruit and pine tree flavors dominate with litle malt to back them up. Actually feels thinner as the brew warms. An americanized IPA - More Hops + Less Malt = No Balance.

Dec 31, 2004 Film of head, decent lacing. Amber clear color, nose of nice floral hops, fresh & crispy, maybe some caper note? Taste malty, balanced with a mild bitterness amount. Some chocolatey malt & more bitterness seeps through, very balanced & tasty.
