Nice hoppy flavor but not too over the top in bitterness. This would be a great session IPA. Thanks Branden for this one. argo0 (6985), Washington DC, USA

Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some lemon. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, light lemon, caramel/cookie. Bitter, but not as much as I remember, though I last had it in the days before IIPAs. Medium body, quite drinkable. Excellent IPA, no letdown despite being a re-rate of one of my first 600 beers. (8/4/8/4/16)
(7/26/02) I know I’m a sucker for brews with big Cascade flavor, but so what! The aroma is strong grapefruit, letting you know what’s on its way. Flavorwise, this baby’s well-balanced, with a healthy malt backbone in support. A fine beer for those who like what it has to offer. (9/4/8/4/16) Uglyradio (776), Greenville, South Carolina, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 12, 2003 This one pours a deep golden yellow color with a small, lingering white head. It has an aroma full of floral hop spiciness. Medium bodied, with a nice piney hop flavor, slightly bitter finish, and a lingering malt sweetness. This is a solid IPA, well hopped but not overly so, with a decent malt backbone. I could drink this frequently. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 19, 2004 This is an excellent IPA. Pale copper/amber cross, clear with a nice soupy white head with a touch of yellow in the foam. The aroma is a very complex hop profile. You’ve got pepper, citrus and pine all meshed together in a sinus-tingling mix. The flavor is fairly dry but manages to barely keep away from the all hop, no malt unbalancing of some IPAs. There’s still enough malt flavor in here to support the hops and bitterness despite it being very highly attenuated. Excellent IPA that excites the nose and tongue. fly (1333), austin, Tejas, USA
