This one is Hog Heaven's little brother. Pours light golden orange with big bumpy white head. Wonderful hop aroma and flavor, but it overrides the malt a bit so that there's not a crisp malt finish. Still some malt sweetness in the background to add blanance. All in all a fine beer. AleConnoisseur (29), Houghton, Michigan, USA

Nice lacing down the glass. Floral hops and citrus on the nose. Nice malt background with lots of hops and citrus fruits. Great bitter finish. A really good IPA. guzzler67 (1283), Hanover, Maryland, USA

Heavy dose of resinous hops in the aroma with a herbal note on the edge. Citrusy hop taste, dominated by grapefruit. Medium-bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel. "Malty finish"? Maybe buried deep on the aftertaste. But the only balance seems to be with the variety of hops. Crisp, bitter, lingering finish. Very drinkable. LiebeBier (793), Annapolis, Maryland, USA

All the IPA's up till this point including this one have helped me realize that I love IPA's. Hoppy full-flavored and perfectly bitter. BierBauch (647), Cape Coral Waterfront Wonderland, Florida, USA

Beautiful hop aroma that is fruity with notes of peaches and grapefruit. Body is smooth with a slick mouthfeel. The flavor is an absolutely delicious blend of hops and malt. Lots of citrus and a good dose of bittering hops make this a winner. If Avery would ever come to Florida, I would never thirst for a good brew. HopsOrDie (687), New Lenox, Illinois, USA

I can't put my finger on it but a little bit of pine in the scent; very distinct aroma. Flavor is very hoppy with no sweetness. Lasting bitterness in the finish. Different than the usual American IPA.
