Commercial Description:
In the 1700's one crafty brewer discovered that a healthy dose of hops and an increased alcohol content perserved his ales during the long voyage to India (as depicted in our label) to quench the thirst of British troops. Today, we tip our hat to that historic innovation by brewing Colorado's hoppiest pale ale. Avery IPA demands to be poured into your favorite glass to truly appreciate the citrusy, floral bouquet and the rich, malty finish. Brewed by hopheads for hopheads!

Poured from bottle. Hop aroma, as expected. Light amber, thin head, lacing. Hops dominate flavor with grapefruit in the aftertaste. Hop flavor not too overwhelming. Finished nicely. Very satisfying beer.

Nice hoppy pale aroma, kept a great head even though it was out of the bottle, a little bit of a orange-peel type of flavor, very crisp & clean

12 oz bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with a small creamy off white head that doesn't last long, minimal lacing. Citrusy and fruity aromas, nice sweet grapefruit and piney, hoppy flavors. Medium bodied with a nice soft creamy mouthfeel, very easy to drink as I finished this bottle in just a few minutes, great session beer.

12oz. Bottle: Huge hop aroma. Hints of apricot, citrus, and resin. No malt scent. Light brown/copper color. Clear, but looks a little thin too. Sparkling. Huge, dense, off-white head. Great lacing. Tastes of citrus and hops. Also quite piney. Very tasty and quite bitter. Light body. A little thin. Malty-sweet, slightly dry finish that lasted. Overall, a really good IPA.

Can you go wrong with an IPA? Flowery bouquet typical of IPA’s was amazing. Bitter aftertaste also amazing. A good one for sure.

Pours a copper colour with a huge hoppy aroma that is citrusy, floral and a bit piney. Flavour is likewise with a bit of malt. Very nice

Delicious IPA. Light on color. Very smooth and easy to drink. The bitterness is there but it is mellow and there is a little bit of sweetness. Great for the style.
