Aug 6, 2004 I can smell the grapefruit in this one as soon as I open the bottle. A closer sniff ref\veals some sweetness, lightly toasted malt and earthy hops. Great cream yeah with an orangish body. Very refreshing citrus quickly taken over by a dry, butter, rindey citrus. The flavor is rounded out by lightly toasted malts and earthy hops

May 11, 2005 Bottle. Dark golden/amber color with small off-white head. Aroma of citrus (grapefruit). It’s nicely hoppy. Decent stuff.

Apr 1, 2004 Poured with a golden amber body that displayed a slight chill haze. The head was initially about an inch thick and creamy, and settled down to a carpet of bubbles and left a good amount of lace going down. Lively carbonation was quite nice. The aroma was pretty mild for an IPA, with a floral, delicate hop smell that reminded me more of a Pilsner. Taste was very balanced with caramel malts, sweet and tart citric tones, and spicy to floral hop bitterness. It lacked the quintessential “bite” of an IPA, but was a very pleasant experience. Medium creamy mouthfeel with a dry aftertaste. An easy drinking IPA that has enough complexity to keep things interesting. Nice trade 123456green.

Jun 14, 2005 I don’t know if it was because I had a long day of work, but this is an outstanding IPA. Pours dark gold and a light white head. Full hop aroma with some strong grapefruit notes. Flavor is a very hoppy but light bodied.

May 10, 2006 Heavy flowery perfume, grape, citrus, and pine aromas over a sweet background; smooth, round flavor that’s sweet at first, and finishes pleasently and substantially bitter withouth being sharp; firm body; the hops seem to be more in the aroma and flavor. This is a very fine IPA.

Mar 27, 2005 The aroma was nice w/ orange zest, pine, and grapefruit. The flavor pretty much the same w/ a slight hint of flowers. The beer poured a golden orange color w/ thin head and thin lasting lacing. The mouthfeel was light and creamy.

Oct 16, 2004 Dark golden color with a medium sized white head. Nice citrus/hop aroma. Flavor is mostly hops(cascade?). Nice and tart with the malt making an appearance at the end. I’m starting to

Sep 16, 2004 Bottle.Spicy, fruity, sweet, yeasty aroma. Clear golden color with a respectable white head. Powerfully pungent flavor with a moderate malt base that barely supports it. Semi-dry, bitter finish. A bracing IPA that features a spicy hop profile more than the typical resinous one. I suspect this a from Styrian Goldings hops. Very good and distinct IPA.
