RomanW70 (284), Providence, Rhode Island, USA Jul 20, 2008 On tap at Julian’s, 7/11. Pours orange gold with a medium white head. Aroma of sweet malts, pine and grapefruit. Nice flavor, a good combination of caramel malts and citrus and pine hops. Very nice beer.
mcmd (56), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Oct 1, 2008 Pours a clear light orange with decent off white head. Aroma is floral and piney hops, a little yeast. Flavor is malt up front on a bed of floral and citrus hops, slight fruitiness. Very pleasant bitterness in the finish. Solid IPA. Nik925 (154), California, USA Sep 29, 2008 The aftertaste lingers for days is an off metal bitter yuck. Not a bad beer, reminds me of S.N. Southern Hemi Fresh hop minus the extra kick. Its good and hoppy but the malt comes up thin. Some lacing hardly any head and piss yellow color kill the appearance score. I rate IPAs way to hard, this is a good beer, but I’ll pass on it in the future for better beers. waolsen (1007), Littleton, Colorado, USA Sep 29, 2008 wow I can’t believe I haven’t rated this yet. this is one of my staple 6ers. Very solid IPA with large piney hops and a nice balance. nice bitterness in finish. always a sure thing. cab (756), Denmark Sep 26, 2008 Bottle.Old rating. Columbus, Styrian Goldings and Centennial hops used for this one. It pours clear amber-orange with an average sized creamy head that mostly diminished but left good lacing. fredandboboflo (625), East Setauket, New York, USA Sep 21, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of huge meadowy floral hops with citrus hops in the background. Flavor remains flavorfully hoppy with those floral notes, good malt presence, but nothing sweet; highlight on the hops, and a well done highlight. Big flavor and still very light and forgiving on the tongue. Very nice stuff.
