Commercial Description:
We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

Had this on tap as a guest offering at Barley’s the Smokehouse. To be honest, I sampled this after several hoppy brews so it had a tough spot in the rotation. Nose of caramel, grain, and some fruit. This brew is a sparkling honey amber. The white frothy head is mostly diminishing, and leaves light lace. The flavor has good balance but is pretty thin. Tastes like AB amber bock or something. The light watery body is lively. Not too impressed.

This is very different from any Avery brew and a uinique Belgian style to attempt. Tastes mostly like a tart version of a Saison. There are some nicer herbal flavors nad bitterness in the after taste. You expect a slight malt flavor to kick in but it doesn’t...overall it has a very tart and bitter character to it. Overall, a very nice addition to their Belgian lineup.

This has a hint of something interesting on the nose, but it doesn’t translate into the flavor. Mild with a soapy finish. I’ll take it for free but wouldn’t buy it again, Avery makes other good beers that I’d favor.

Bottle - pours a dirty copper with a two finger white head that quickly dissipates to skim the surface. Belgian yeast bubble gum aroma. Flavor is light with yeasty easters & fruity notes with light bready malt in the backround. Kinda belgian, kinda not.

Mellow gold color. Small frothy head. Nice presentation. Not very Belgian-esque...more hoppy and PNW-like. Avery is always good!

One of Avery’s smaller brews. Nothing really exciting. Everything was average (smell, taste, texture).
