Commercial Description:
We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

Golden brown, with a thick loose head. A full wheaty, malty, yeasty aroma. I can smell sour apples in there as well. Medium body without much flavor. A bit disappointing after the aroma.

Malty citrus aroma. Light amber colors. Not much of a head. Not much to comment on without slamming it. Very simple beer, yet I taste none of the belgian characteristics. Unimpressed for a seasonal.

(bottle - 12 oz) Amber in color with a foamy white head. Aroma is very mild with some malt and fruit notes. Mainly sweet malts, yeast, and some citrus. Flavor is kind of light with a touch of spice and yeast that disappears quickly. Aftertaste is essentially nothing. Flavor isn’t there and really needs to be. Very fizzy.

11/4/06. Bottle.
Orange-yellow body. Floral hop nose. Slightly stale hop flavor with other notes of citrus.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange-amber with a nice size foamy off-white head. Mild fruity aroma with floral hops, caramel malt and some spices -- not bad at all. Flavour’s fruity and a bit sweet with some caramel malt, yeast and floral hop bitterness -- but it’s a little watery and more subtle then I’d like. Average body. I fail to see how this is a Belgian Ale but it’s decent enough and easy to drink.

From a 12 ounce bottle purchased at "Keller’s IGA" - smelled like fermenting gim-shi, tastes wonderful (but not a lot of deepth). A damn good beer.

Biggest detraction for this is the aroma, in which the esthers are not pleasant, at times even faintly garbage like. Easy drinking with a more earthy type of hop characater, but lacking much depth.

Dark amber, large head, good lacing. Aroma is fruity with light notes of yeast and caramel. Fairly light bodied, interesting in that it’s not interesting... if that makes sense. Not really true to the style but whatever.
