Commercial Description:
We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

brewtopia 10/21/06. I was told this was a saison. Aroma is lightly spicy, sweet malt. Taste is the same, light in body.

Hazy deep orange body, thin off-white head. Biscuity, dry aroma. Bready, biscuity body, light spiciness and flower petals. Lemon and cookie dough become evident after a few sips. A nice sipping beer, simple and refreshing.

Pleasant aroma of pasionfruit, delicate hops, and sweet malt. Appears a clear ambe color with a small creamy head that mostly dissipates. Flavor is grainy, with some caramel notes, and a not insignificant hoppy bitterness. Palate is medium-light and somewhat slick with good effervescence. Overall, a very tasty and pleasant brew, but much more pale ale than belgian. In fact, I don’t get much belgian character at all. Still, I do like the brew.

Bottle. Pours an orange copper color with a decent off white head. Aroma of citrus, banana and wheat. Taste is intially slightly sweet, then turns into a rich flavor of hops. Finishes with a crisp tart flavor.

Dark bronzed golden color with a slight chill haze to it. Medium top of frothy off-white creamy foam. Light lacing in a few bigger spots and few catapillar shaped strings. Aroma is light with a soft pear and apple cleanness of fruitified candyness with a slight cinnamon spice. Taste is quite average. No much going on here. A slight pull of dryness with a partail grassy hop mixes with a pale malt sweetness and very light fruity tones. Mild finish with a slight apple/pear texture and a firmly set smoothness within that texture. Feel is decent enough. Slight textured carbonation nibbles along a smooth malty tone of very light fruityness. Not the greatest from Avery, nor the greatest Americanized version of a Belgian Pale.

Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. The aroma and flavor focuses mostly on honey and candy sweetness, there is some malt presence too. The body is medium with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. An average effort to do belgian stuff.
