| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 30, 2006 Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. The aroma and flavor focuses mostly on honey and candy sweetness, there is some malt presence too. The body is medium with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. An average effort to do belgian stuff. porterhouse (1162), Alna, Maine, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2006 (Bottle from Julio’s Liquors (MA)) Pours cloudy brownish orange with about 1/2" of off-white head. Aroma sweetly malty. Mouthfeel quite dry, a bit prickly. Some webby lacing. Flavor is some sweetish malt and a bit of fruitiness but is kind of pushed back by the dryness. Not much going on here taste-wise. tomxcs (315), Golden, Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 18, 2006 Pours a rusty amber color, off-white medium head. Light yeasty/bready/fruity malt aromas. Slightly off metallic/sour flavors (unlike other farmhouse/light Belgian ales I’ve had) as it warms but fairly refreshing. Fairly light body. Light, grainy malts and dry, earthy hops. Some characteristics reminds me all too much of a bad lager and it’s very boring, yet it’s very drinkable and refreshing, with some nice light Belgian ale notes. jerc (3954), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 24, 2006 Bottle. Orange amber body, moderate off white head. (3+) Mild metallic-glass notes that I suspect may be from the glass rather than the beer but can’t be sure. Mild muted roange, very mild grass. Aroma is pleasant but difficult to tease from the glass. Mild citrusy bitterness, exceptionally muted resim hides behind muted fruit and caramel malt. Average palate. This could potentially be quite dull but has just enough flavour to be quite drinkable and well balanced. <P>

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 23, 2006 Bottle. Copper, golden color, white head. Distinctly belgian in aroma, with bready, yeasty smell. Flavor is bready and biscuity up front, followed by a mild spice character, slightly sour finish. Expected more; not bad at all, but not too terribly exciting either. black95tt (82), Doylestown, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 15, 2006 This just isn’t my style of beer. Pours a light golden color, with a frothy eggshell head. Aroma is almost non-existent, it does however, have a hint of earthy hoppiness to it. Taste is spicy, nutty, and earthy with a flowery hop finish. All of these flavors are very subdued though. Makes for a beer that is just kinda, well...boring. sistinas (60), Tempe, Arizona, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 12, 2006 Bottled. Pours a cloudy orangey copper color with a medium-sized white head which leaves a fair bit of lacing. Smells a bit yeasty with some indiscernable spice to it. Super bland, almost tastes like toasted-tea-soda. Light carbonation. Blaaah! mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear light orange body with a large fluffy white head. The aroma is fruity, sourish bread, and cookies. Kind of a blend between a saison and a bland American Pale - mild spicy hops, soft banana and other fruits, and some breadiness. Medium body. Kind of boring but it’s drinkable.
