Commercial Description:
We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

Bottle. Poured this one very cold (left in freezer too long) into frozen glass and still produced nice, off-white/beige head, medium lace. Orange/amber. Heavy palate...almost chewy, velvety. Slight rust finish. I enjoyed this beer with BBQ/Whiskey pork. $1.49/bottle - Whole Foods, Boca Raton

In the bottle. Dark amber with an off-white head. Almost an indiscernable aroma. Maybe a bit of honey? Or slightly floral. Flavor of tea with plenty of tartness as well. Uniquely, this has a strong quinine taste. So much that you could mix gin with this. Very unusual palate. Slight medicinal finish.

Poured a dark amber with a clear body that leaves a tan head. The nose is caramel, roasted nuts, cooked sugar, hops, and wheat fresh grass. The taste starts tart with a wheat twang that is followed by a heavy malty caramel background that evolves to a slightly toasted nutty feel on the palate and finishes again tart, it also has a little hop bitterness for balance but just enough, and ends a little boozey within that malty background. Quality brew from Avery!

12 oz. bottle. Poured the color of an old penny with a large frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing. Excellent lacing. There’s not a lot to the aroma, but what’s there is good. Lightly hoppy, some yeast and fruity stuff, all pretty calm. Flavor is barely sweet, lightly bitter with an average length lightly bitter finish. Light to medium body, smooth mouthfeel, lively carbonation. I must say that it’s nice to see that Avery doesn’t have to go over the top with everything. I found this beer to be truly enjoyable, highly drinkable, and quite refreshing in its simplicity. This is not a complex brew at all, but it’s straight up good without any of the fancies that get ’em rated higher. Rated higher on the "overall" because this beer just feels good without me being able to justify that feeling on the other scores. I’ll certainly drink this again.

pours a cloudy orange hue witha frothy white head. Aromas are lacking.......... a little earthiness and a light yeasty goodness. This tastes like a belgian new castle. another dissapointment from an overrated brewery.

Total Wines, Tampa, Fl. - 12 oz bottle. Medium copper pour, sparkly; tight, but fluffy white head. Slightly sweet aroma, some raisins, ripening fruit. Flavor is slightly dull nothing really jumps out. Some brief candied sugar notes, a hint of mint, some muted citrus, a bit of ripening vegetables. Decently thick mouthfeel. Not one of the better ones form Avery.

Bottle at Party Source, KY. Poured dark amber with an average frothy off-white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate fruity malty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet flavor with a malty sweet finish of average duration. Interesting to try once.
